We are excited to partner with Shelby County Schools, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and The Tennessee Department of Education to provide free, remote literacy instruction/tutoring this fall. In order to secure your child’s place in this program, please review and consent to BookNook’s terms and conditions below. Once you have provided consent, we will send you important, program instructions covering next steps. We look forward to tutoring your child this fall!
This 12 week program is free to families and will be offered Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays during the hours of 4:00 PM-7:30 PM CST to eligible students in grades 1 through 3, starting December 13th, 2021.
It’s Virtual: Your child will use the BookNook application to complete small group tutoring sessions where they will read books and engage in a variety of online literacy activities
It’s Collaborative: Your child will be assigned a dedicated tutor to work with in each session. All BookNook tutors have completed a background check and have online teaching experience.
It’s Convenient: Your child will attend small group sessions online after school.
